No, it's not a joke, I'm selling the original artwork from Pillhead Ninjas. The basic reason is I need money. I'm not exactly starving, but I could certainly use a little extra cash flow to make household finances move more smoothly after our cross-country move (that's why the strip didn't advance for a month, too, and where I lost #23), and I happen to have these original strips I've written that a number of people actually like, so I figured someone out there might want to purchase a real-life piece of the web. There's no telling how it will go. Perhaps I'll look like an idiot, perhaps not.

In any event, I'm making the actual original art available for sale. By purchasing the art, you do not purchase the copyright to it--that I reserve for myself. I'll keep a high-quality scan of the piece on hand in case I ever need it for the site or for future reasons. If you're interested in purchasing any given strip[s], please drop me an e-mail. Depending on demand for any given piece, I'm thinking something like $20-50 per strip (although more likely on the $20 side than the $50 side.)

You can, of course, write me and tell me I'm being foolish, and if enough people do so, I'll gladly rescind my offer. The last thing I want to look like is a greedy fool who can't draw--heck, I'm already one-third of that, got to be careful with the other parts. Barring negative reactions, I'll leave this up for a few days to see how things turn out. Thanks for taking a look.
