Save Points - Latest Updates

Sunday, November 2nd, 2003: It's been a long, long time since the site was updated. I've been busy with other things and not terribly inspired to update, although that's no fault of video gaming--that's certainly exciting as ever. And frequentors of alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.video-games may have spotted me occasionally uploading a soundtrack. The big news is that this update brings on a major new section which could become a backbone of the site, called Character Select.

The section is a collection of video game avatars for downloading and use. Look for a linking graphic from the main page soon. Also look for a FAQ soon explaining what I have, don't have, and my requests on how to use the section. Feedback is always welcome--I just can't guarantee a response from me. Enjoy!

Tuesday, June 11th, 2002: The first update to the site in almost nine months. I have added a new Byte Sized, and have updated the Near Perfect Collection (which, by the way, has always been a play on the Japanese titling schemes, and not a pompous statement of how good my collection is.) Furthermore, look for more Pillhead Ninjas to come, since I located some of my lost strips and am getting back into the swing of things. Friday, June 1, 2001: A few minor updates here and there. Added the Ecco: Songs of Time CD review to Sound Tests, Pillhead Ninjas continues to move along, and I worked with my emulator to get a much better working Lifeforce pod marker here. Also added the "Save Points" link for previous update listings.

Wednesday, May 9, 2001: A massive overhaul to the site was done today thanks to the tireless working of my fiancée, who reformed the site, developing new graphics, restructuring html, and basically taking care of me more than I deserve. You'll find that the game reviews are gone now, having never really taken off in the first place. In their stead are game soundtrack reviews (well, a review, since I only have one at the moment) which shall be updated weekly. Many other aspects of the site have a new look although the material remains unchanged, and of particular note, the soundtrack collections page has been immensely more readable. Show your thanks and support to my lovely fiancée by checking out her own magnificent site, The Heart of the Flames.
